Our Story...

Circa 2007: SBP has been in business since April 2007 with the help of wonderful support from friends and family. The name was inspired by the owner's favorite tree, the Sweet Bay Magnolia Tree. Its perfect white bloom is inspiring... resembling of a blank canvas where any great design can emerge. The magnolia tree represents all the southern charm and hospitality that SBP offers to its customers!

About the owner: Alabama born and raised, Mississippi educated, and now Florida resident, Sheri Lee Scruggs can honestly say she is a true Southern Girl! The Southern woman knows all about the proper penmenship and appropriate coorespondance.

Her career really began at 16 working at a hometown colothing boutique and soon fell in love with the world of sales. "The key to sales," she says, "is selling things you love, and I love all things beautiful!" Sheri was inspired by clothing... its colors, its touch, and the way it can transform you! After high school she ventured to Ole Miss, where she persued a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing. That degree took her on many retail adventures, where she learned all avenues of wholesale and retail sales, while perfecting an ability to work with customers. "I have been on both sides... sales clerk and customer... so I psycologically understand what a customer wants and how they want to be treated! That's why it is my goal to provide my cusomer with excellent product and the best in customer service!" Sheri's sales experiences varies from children's clothing sales, women's clothing sales, retail buyer, and interior design sales. Through all these fashionable venues, she has developed an exceptional eye for beautiful deaign. She now channels all her design expertise into the papers business. After many years of dreaming of being a business owner, in early spring of 2007 it finally hit her... she created an online invitation and labels store to begin selling and creating her own product.

Why papers? Sheri was blessed with a little girl in November of 2006. She lives in a small beach community in Florida and had a very hard time finding all the personalized papers and accessories she desired for her new arrival. This spurred her on to research how other women felt, and they all agreed with her frustration. She saw a need and went for it! After two years, Sweet Bay Prints has collected an amazing assortment of fine stationery and invitations, plus many accessories and gifts. Sweet Bay Prints has become a one-stop shop for party planning. In the recent months, Sweet Bay Prints is working with many local brides and wedding planners selecting the perfect save-the-date, announcement, or invitation for the most special day!

Rest assured that Sweet Bay Prints has what you need and we will do our best to customize the product as much as you desire. As a working mom and daily budgeting for her own family, Sheri understands your struggle to "buy it all," so never feel bad emailing her with a budget in mind... my guess, she will match it up everytime!

What we have: SBP offers fine invitations, stationery, announcements, stamps, embossers, labels, bag Tags, accessories and gifts from the best in the business. We also offer custom printing for all our products. We believe you should get exactly what you want when paying for custom! We will work with you to get it perfect. We have added adorable children and adult gifts, which include tote bags, luggage, lunch boxes, towel wraps, pajamas, picture frames, etc. With the help of a friend, our products can be monogrammed.

What makes us different: We deisre to work with any budget. As a mom of two, Sheri knows how challenging it can be to juggle it all! We think everyone should have fine invitations and stationery, so we will work with you and help suggest whatever fits into the budget for your event. Also, we offer amazing deals on custom printing. I firmly believe if you are paying for custom, you should get exactly what you want. All proofs are free and we will generate as many as it takes to get it right. We custom print products that are not our own, so feel free to inquire about that too.

Store Polocies: Any order can be canceled within 12 hours of order time for full refund. After the 12 hour time frame, the customer is subject to store credit that does NOT expire! All personalized products (custom printing and monogramming) is non-refundable or eligaible for store credit. Sweet Bay Prints will generate proofs for customers at no charge, but you have to ask for it by emailing us. Sweet Bay Prints is not responsible for incorrect information entered when selecting personalization on products.
